Process

Design

Site Assessment to determine the primary use of the turf and inspect the area for size, shape and any drainage issues.Create a scale diagram including curves, slopes and drainage features.

Build

Clear the area by removing existing grass, weeds, rocks and debris. Excavate the soil by digging 2-4 inches to allow space for the base layer and ensure proper slope for drainage. Add a base material of crushed silica sand to create a solid foundation. Use a plate compactor to compress the material for stability. Install a weed barrier to prevent weed growth. Prepare for installation by laying turf rolls, trimming excess turf and join turf seams.

Maintain

Infill application by spreading silica sand or rubber infill to weigh down the turf and improve durability. Brush the turf with a power broom, to lift fibers and evenly distribute the infill for a polished look.
